Leeds United welcomed Norwich City at Elland Road earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 32nd minute when Sean Longstaff got his name on the scoresheet. Gabriel Gudmundsson doubled his side’s advantage in the 43rd minute as Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead.
Joel Piroe added another goal in the 85th minute as the West Yorkshire club earned an impressive 3-0 win at Elland Road.

GK: Lucas Perri – 7/10
He made a few solid saves during the game and secured an important clean sheet this evening.
RB: Sebastiaan Bornauw – 6/10
Bornauw looked a bit shaky at the back and was replaced at half-time.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 7/10
He made a lot of important clearances inside his half and did enough to secure the clean sheet.
CB: Ethan Ampadu – 7.5/10
Ampadu read the danger well and was a good presence on the ball.

LB: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 8.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and managed to score and create a goal this evening. Gudmundsson deserves to be named the man of the match.
CM: Ao Tanaka – 6.5/10
Tanaka put in a tireless display at the centre of the park but lacked quality in the final third.
CM: Sean Longstaff – 7.5/10
He was full of energy and running at the heart of Farke’s midfield and scored the opener with a good effort.
RW: Daniel James – 6.5/10
James caught the eye at times, but never looked like he would score.
CAM: Joel Piroe – 8/10
He was a real threat in the final third and managed to score in the 85th minute.
LW: Wilfried Gnonto – 6.5/10
Gnonto managed to shine at times on the left wing, but there was no goal for him.
ST: Lukas Nmecha – 7/10
He caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders, but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

He was solid at the back in the second half.
CM: Pascal Struijk – 6/10
Struijk added some energy to Leeds’ midfield.
