In a recent report, Fotospor<\/a> mentioned that Newcastle United could move in for Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz this summer. It has been claimed that the Magpies would have to rival Liverpool and Aston Villa in the race to land the Turkish wide player this off-season.<\/p>\n

Yilmaz\u2019s Impressive Rise In Turkish Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yilmaz had a decent campaign in Turkish football recently after he managed to put in a series of impressive displays for Galatasaray on the right flank. The Turkish sensation found the back of the net on six occasions and earned seven assists in 37 matches for his current employers last season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old caught the eye with his performances on the right side of Galatasaray\u2019s attack. However, it remains to be seen whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if Newcastle manage to win the race for his services this summer.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Turkish club will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, it won\u2019t be easy for the Magpies to land him on a cut-price deal in this transfer window.<\/p>\n

What Will Yilmaz Add To Newcastle United Boss Eddie Howe\u2019s Team?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yilmaz can create some space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He can shoot the ball purely and with venom from long range and can create some decent chances for his teammates in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

The Turkish sensation is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet but needs to find a way to be more decisive in the final third. However, as mentioned earlier, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of Premier League football.<\/p>\n

We can expect Yilmaz to add more goals and creativity to Newcastle United<\/a> head coach Eddie Howe\u2019s attack. He is good enough to increase competition for places within the Tyneside club\u2019s squad in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n

At 24, Yilmaz would only get better with each season, so the Magpies<\/a> would do well to bring him to St. James\u2019 Park this off-season. However, Howe needs to be patient with his progress before he can get the best out of the Turkish playmaker in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
