Newcastle United are not slowing down in the ongoing summer transfer window. With one eye on the Champions League and the other on strengthening their attack, the English club have stepped up their search for a top striker. Eintracht do not want to sell him, but they are listening to offers close to \u20ac100 million, the price set by his clause.<\/p>\n

The first offer from the Magpies was around \u20ac80 million, but was rejected without hesitation. Now, the Premier League club are preparing a new bid that would match the German club\u2019s demands. In addition, journalist Florian Plettenberg<\/a> has reported that talks with the player are at an advanced stage. Is it worth the risk?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The stakes are high, no doubt. Newcastle need attacking depth, and Ekitike, with his mobility, eye for goal and potential, offers a lot.
