According to a report by The Athletic<\/a> journalist Jacob Tanswell, Aston Villa are currently in no mood to sell Morgan Rogers. On the contrary, the club have planned to offer him a new contract. This new agreement will not be just paperwork, but will reflect his importance in the eyes of the club. Chelsea<\/a> had also considered an exchange deal to sign the 23-year-old, and despite moving towards Xavi Simons, they are still giving priority to Rodgers.<\/p>\n

When Morgan Rogers was brought from Middlesbrough at a cheap price, no one thought that he would prove himself to this level in such a short time.
