In a recent interview with Football Insider<\/a>, former Premier League scout Mick Brown claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are eager to land Manchester City<\/a> talent Jack Grealish. Brown said,<\/p>\n

\u201cJack Grealish needs to be playing regularly wherever he goes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe needs to go to a club where he can produce the type of form we know he\u2019s capable of.<\/p>\n

\u201cTottenham could be that destination, especially after they\u2019ve missed out on the deal for Gibbs-White, because they want to strengthen in that position.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been interested in Grealish for a while, so that deal might finally come now.<\/p>\n

\u201cGibbs-White staying at Forest is going to be a big blow, but they\u2019ll have other targets in mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it\u2019s not Grealish, there will be somebody else, but he is certainly a name on their list.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe can play in that attacking midfield role but can go out wide as well if needed, and that\u2019s always a valuable asset to have in your side.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know he\u2019s going to move from Man City, there\u2019s no question about that, so the opportunity is there.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt might depend on whether the money is right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grealish\u2019s Recent Season In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grealish struggled to find consistency at the Mancunian club in the previous campaign but managed to put in a run of decent displays on the left side of their attack. The English talent scored three goals and grabbed five assists in 32 matches for Man City last season on all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old did well to average 1.87 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 33.3% of his attempts on target. Grealish distributed the ball accurately in the opponent\u2019s half after making 87.6% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank Bring Grealish On Board?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grealish is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the eye to play some killer passes in the final third and can strike the ball well from long range.<\/p>\n

However, the English talent needs to find a way to improve his productivity in front of the opponent\u2019s goal. Still, Grealish has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League<\/a> and would be a good fit for Tottenham\u2019s needs in the short term. He is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also operate in the number ten position if asked to do so.<\/p>\n

We can expect Grealish to add more firepower to Spurs boss Thomas Frank\u2019s attack. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at the North London club next season.<\/p>\n
