In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes stated that Tottenham Hotspur are locked in a three-way battle for Al-Hilal forward Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer. It has been revealed that Spurs would have to rival Newcastle United and Manchester United in the race to land the Serbian striker this off-season.<\/p>\n

Mitrovic\u2019s Impressive Form In Saudi Arabia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 30-year-old enjoyed a good run of form for the Saudi club in the previous campaign when he put in a lot of impressive displays as the spearhead of their attack. Mitrovic played in 36 matches for Al-Hilal last season, scoring 28 goals and picking up seven assists in multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The Serbian talent has got a wealth of experience in Premier League football. He is still performing at a high level, so it is no surprise that Spurs are showing interest in recruiting him this summer.<\/p>\n

Mitrovic\u2019s current contract at Al-Hilal will run out at the end of next season which could open the door for Tottenham to land him on a cut-price deal this off-season.<\/p>\n

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank Snap Mitrovic Up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mitrovic excels at using his strength to make some space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He can be a decent finisher in the final third and has also got the eye to create the odd chance for others around him in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.89m, the Serbian talent can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition defenders in the air. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at the North London club.<\/p>\n

Mitrovic would bring more goals to Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> head coach Thomas Frank\u2019s attack. He is good enough to fight for regular first-team football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n

At 30, Mitrovic has still got a few good years left in him to play at his best. Thus, it makes sense for Tottenham to try and snap him up on the cheap before the end of this transfer window.
