In a recent post<\/a> on X, Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna mentioned that Manchester United are locked in a three-way battle for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani. It has been stated that the Red Devils are facing competition in the form of Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to land the French striker this summer.<\/p>\n

Kolo Muani\u2019s Impressive Loan Spell In Italian Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kolo Muani had a solid loan spell at Juventus last season when he put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old scored ten goals and picked up three assists in 22 matches for the Turin club in the previous campaign across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The France international led the line well for Juve up top as he averaged 1.94 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A<\/a> football. He kept 52% of his attempts on target. Kolo Munai was a bit untidy when distributing the ball in the final third after making only 69.9% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Italian football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Ligue 1<\/a> club will expire in the summer of 2028. Thus, Man United have got no choice but to meet the French club\u2019s demands if they want to sign Kolo Muani this off-season.<\/p>\n

Is Kolo Muani A Good Option For Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kolo Muani is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can be a decent finisher in the final third when he is playing with confidence on the field.<\/p>\n

The French striker can even create the odd chance for others around him in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area. However, he might need some time to adjust to life in the Premier League<\/a> if the Red Devils can find a way to win the race for his services.<\/p>\n

Kolo Muani would bring more goals and depth to Man United<\/a> boss Ruben Amorim\u2019s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for regular first-team football at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

At 26, Kolo Muani has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a great choice for the Mancunian club to consider in this transfer window.
