In a recent report<\/a>, Tuttosport claimed that Manchester United have been offered a chance to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer. It has been stated that the Red Devils will only move in for the Serbian centre-forward if they fail to sign RB Leipzig\u2019s Benjamin Sesko in this transfer window.<\/p>\n

Vlahovic\u2019s Decent Numbers In Italian Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Vlahovic managed to put in a series of impressive displays for the Italian club in the previous campaign. The Serbia international banged in 17 goals and earned five assists in 44 matches for Juve last season in various competitions.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old managed to catch the eye with his performances up top as he averaged 3.68 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A<\/a>. He kept 34.2% of his attempts on target. However, Vlahovic needs to improve his ball distribution in the opponent\u2019s half after making 69.1% of his attempted passes in the Italian first division (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Turin club will expire at the end of next season, which could open the door for Man United to sign him on a cut-price deal this summer.<\/p>\n

Should Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim Recruit Vlahovic?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Vlahovic is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He can be a good finisher in the final third when he is playing with confidence on the pitch.<\/p>\n

The Serbian sensation can even create the odd chance for others around him up top and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet. Standing at 1.90m, Vlahovic can use his robust frame to win his fair share of aerial duels in the opposition half. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vlahovic would add more firepower to Man United<\/a> head coach Ruben Amorim\u2019s frontline. He might even help the Red Devils compete for a European spot in the Premier League next season.<\/p>\n

Vlahovic would also serve as an upgrade over Rasmus Hojlund at the Mancunian club.
