Newcastle United have re-established their identity in the Premier League over the past few years. Under the coaching of Eddie Howe, the club have gradually have made their place within the elites. According to a report in the Daily Mail<\/a>, Newcastle United are now trying to sign Aston Villa<\/a> captain John McGinn. Eddie Howe wants to bring this experienced Scottish midfielder to his team because he considers him a reliable and match-changing player. McGinn is currently at Villa Park with two more years left on his contract, but other clubs are curious about his situation.<\/p>\n

John McGinn previously made his mark playing for Hibernian FC. He joined Aston Villa in 2018, and since then, he has become an important player for the club. Whether in centre mid or on the wing, McGinn proves useful everywhere. He has experience, captaincy skills and a habit of putting up clutch performances in the Premier League.
