According to Ben Jacobs<\/a>\u2018 report, Newcastle United have targeted Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. The club are looking at the Senegal player as an alternative to Benjamin Sesko. The report states that initial talks have taken place between Chelsea and Newcastle United. The talks have not been limited to interest, but discussions have also taken place at the club-to-club level.<\/p>\n

Talking about his qualities, Jackson\u2019s pace, movement and understanding inside the box can trouble any defense. He created some important chances and scored goals at Chelsea last season. The Senegal player\u2019s style is quite different from Alexander Isak\u2019s, which makes him a different dynamic option. The club believe that if the Sesko deal fails, they can make a move for the Chelsea striker quickly.<\/p>\n

Will Jackson be able to fill Isak\u2019s place?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Isak\u2019s situation is not completely clear now. If he does push for Liverpool<\/a>, Newcastle United will have very little time to bring in a reliable striker. Jackson seems like a good option. However, his consistency in the Premier League has been questionable so far.
