In a recent report<\/a>, Marca mentioned that Real Madrid are keeping a keen eye on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to secure the services of the Portuguese talent this summer.<\/p>\n

Vitinha\u2019s Brilliant Season In French Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Vitinha enjoyed an excellent form at the French club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of impressive performances for them at the centre of the park. The 25-year-old scored eight times and secured five assists in 59 matches for PSG last season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese midfielder gave a good account of himself as he made 43 tackles, 26 blocks and 14 interceptions in Ligue 1<\/a>. He was even tidy when distributing possession from midfield after completing 93.1% of his attempted passes in the French first division (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the French club will run out in the summer of 2029. Hence, it won\u2019t be easy for Los Blancos to snap him up on the cheap this off-season.<\/p>\n

Is Vitinha A Dream Choice For Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Vitinha is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team at the centre of the park. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is an accurate passer of the ball when required.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese midfield ace can contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals in the final third. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also operate as a holding midfielder or play in the number ten position if told to do so by his manager.<\/p>\n

We can expect Vitinha to add more quality to Real Madrid<\/a> head coach Xabi Alonso\u2019s midfield department. He is more than capable of earning a regular starting spot at the Madrid club in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 25, Vitinha has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a dream choice for Los Blancos to consider in this transfer window.
