In a recent segment with beIN SPORTS<\/a>, football presenter Richard Keys revealed that Real Madrid are in the mix to sign Newcastle United<\/a> centre-forward Alexander Isak. Keys said,<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard today that Liverpool have made a bid of \u00a3110m\u2026a second offer of \u00a380m now and \u00a360m next season. But I\u2019ve also heard that Real Madrid might be in the frame.\u201d<\/p>\n

Isak\u2019s Excellent Form In English Football Last Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Isak had a productive campaign at the Tyneside club after he produced a handful of match-winning displays for them in the final third. The Swedish forward found the back of the net 27 times and earned six assists in 42 matches for Newcastle last season in multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old led the line well for the Magpies as he averaged 3.10 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League<\/a>. He kept 43.2% of his attempts on target. Isak was even accurate when distributing possession in the opponent\u2019s half, based on his pass success rate of 75.3% in the English top tier (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at St. James\u2019 Park will run out in the summer of 2028. Therefore, Real Madrid would have to make a convincing offer if they want to stand a chance of recruiting Isak in this transfer window.<\/p>\n

Should Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso Get Isak On Board?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Isak is a decent dribbler with the ball and has proven himself to be a lethal finisher in front of the opponent\u2019s goal. He can create the odd chance for his teammates to score and can use his strong 1.92m to win his fair share of aerial duels for his team.<\/p>\n

The Swedish sensation is currently playing the best football of his career. Hence, Isak would be a brilliant addition to Real Madrid<\/a>\u2018s squad this summer. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga<\/a> if Los Blancos decide to snap him up in this transfer window.<\/p>\n

We can expect Isak to bring more firepower to Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso\u2019s frontline. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at the Madrid club this season.<\/p>\n
