In a video on his Youtube<\/a> channel, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman this summer. Romano said, \u201cLet\u2019s see what\u2019s going to happen, guys, because Lookman could be an option for English clubs. At the moment, still nothing advanced, but for example, the agents of Lookman always gave priority to Inter, but now with Inter no longer being in the race, Premier League clubs could be attentive.<\/p>\n

Lookman enjoyed a good run of form at the Italian club recently after he produced a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The Nigerian talent scored 20 times and picked up seven assists in 40 matches for Atalanta last season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old did well to average 3.24\u00a0 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A<\/a>. He kept 39.5% of his attempts on target. However, Lookman needs to improve his ball distribution, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 72.5% in the Italian top flight (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Bring Lookman On Board This Summer?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lookman is a good dribbler with the ball and can create a few meaningful chances for his teammates to score. He can strike the ball with power from long range and has proven himself to be a consistent goal-scorer in Serie A.<\/p>\n

However, the jury is still out on whether Lookman can maintain his good form in the Premier League<\/a> if the Gunners manage to snap him up this summer.<\/p>\n

Lookman would bring more quality and depth to Arsenal<\/a> boss Mikel Arteta\u2019s frontline. He is good enough to serve as an ideal back-up to Viktor Gyokeres at the North London club.<\/p>\n
