In a recent segment on his Youtube<\/a> channel, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Liverpool are ready to launch another move for Newcastle United<\/a> striker Alexander Isak this summer. Romano said,<\/p>\n

Isak\u2019s Excellent Record In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Isak had a brilliant campaign at Newcastle recently after he produced a lot of productive performances as the spearhead of their attack. The Swedish talent banged in 27 goals and picked up six assists in 42 appearances for the Magpies last season in all competitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The 25-year-old led the line well and deserves credit for averaging 3.1 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 43.2% of his shots on target. Isak was even careful when distributing possession in the final third, based on his pass completion rate of 75.3% in the top tier of English football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Snap Isak Up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Isak can find a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can engineer the odd chance for others around him in the final third and is also quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.92m, the Swedish striker is a strong presence in the air as well. He has already proven his worth in the Premier League<\/a> and would add a lot of firepower to Liverpool<\/a> boss Arne Slot\u2019s defence.<\/p>\n
