Real Madrid will face off against Real Oviedo at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium this Sunday night as they look to secure a win on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a narrow 1-0 victory over Osasuna in the opening weekend of this campaign, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, we can expect Kylian Mbappe to lead the line for the Madrid giants up top.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Dean Huijsen will feature alongside Eder Militao at the centre of the Real Madrid<\/a> backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.<\/p>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold will function as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

David Alaba and Dani Carvajal will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Arda Guler, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid\u2019s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough clear-cut chances for Los Blancos to earn a convincing win this weekend.<\/p>\n

Dani Ceballos and Franco Mastantuono will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second half, if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Vinicius Jr. will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Brahim Diaz looks to impress as the right-sided wide player. Kylian Mbappe will spearhead the Madrid outfit\u2019s attack down the middle. He managed to score from the penalty spot against Osasuna, which should give him a ton of confidence ahead of this clash.<\/p>\n

Rodrygo will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if Real Madrid need a goal by then.<\/p>\n
