Manchester City faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute when Erling Haaland scored from close range. Pep Guardiola\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

James Milner came off the bench and equalised for Brighton in the 67th minute. Brajan Gruda completed the turnaround late in the game as Man City crashed to a poor 2-1 loss away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player performed during the clash against the Seagulls.<\/p>\n

GK: James Trafford \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a lot of solid saves at the back, but still ended up conceding two goals this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Matheus Nunes \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nunes cleared his lines when he could, but gave away a cheap penalty in the second half.<\/p>\n

CB: John Stones \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few important clearances at the back but failed to keep things solid in the second half.<\/p>\n

CB: Abdukadir Khusanov \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Khusavov did his fair share of defending, but it was not enough this afternoon.<\/p>\n

LB: Rayan Ait-Nouri \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both halves.<\/p>\n

CM: Bernardo Silva \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silva worked hard defensively but offered very little in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Rodri \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spaniard put in a good shift today, but it was far from his best.<\/p>\n

CM: Tijjani Reijnders \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He managed to shine at times in the Brighton half, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

RW: Oscar Bobb \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bobb made two promising runs with the ball but lacked quality in the final third.<\/p>\n

ST: Erling Haaland \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and managed to score the opener in the 34th minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Omar Marmoush \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marmoush was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

He added some pace to Guardiola\u2019s attack.<\/p>\n

CM: Nico O\u2019Reilly \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

O\u2019Reilly made one decent run with the ball.<\/p>\n
