After a miserable transfer deadline day, Celtic had no option but to explore the free agent pool in their hunt for a \u2018number 9\u2019. After a half-season loan stint with Koln in the Bundesliga, then-newly-promoted Watford tied him down ahead of the 2021-22 Premier League season. Despite being their highest scorer with 10 league goals, the Hornets finished in the drop zone.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles centre-forward could not impress enough while on loan, and therefore,\u00a0 has been relieved from his duties, being surplus to requirements under Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Celtic<\/a> board shifted gears in the final few days following fans\u2019 fury and bolstered their attack by Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Sebastian Tounekti.
