In a recent report<\/a>, Defensa Central mentioned that Real Madrid are set to re-sign Como playmaker Nico Paz this summer. It is understood that Los Blancos are poised to bring the Argentine talent back to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for just \u20ac10m at the end of this campaign.<\/p>\n

Paz\u2019s Impressive Rise In Italian Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Paz managed to shine at times with his performances for Como in the final third last season. The Argentine attacker was involved in 35 matches for the Italian club in the previous campaign, finding the back of the net on six occasions and picking up nine assists in multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old gave a good account of himself in the opponent\u2019s half as he averaged 3.65 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A<\/a>. He kept 33.9% of his attempts on target. Paz was even excellent when distributing possession after making 80.6% of his attempted passes in the Italian top flight (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Italian club will run out in the summer of 2028. Thus, Real Madrid would do well to land him for just \u20ac10m at the end of this season.<\/p>\n

Should Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso Bring Paz Back Next Year?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Paz can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the vision to create a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third. He is a good dribbler with the ball as well and has already added a handful of goals and assists to his game.<\/p>\n

The Argentine sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also operate as a box-to-box midfielder or as a centre-forward if told to do so by his manager. He already knows the Madrid club well from his spell as a youth player and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life in La Liga<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paz would bring more firepower to Real Madrid<\/a> head coach Xabi Alonso\u2019s attack. He is more than capable of fighting for a regular first-team spot at the Madrid club.<\/p>\n
