Manchester United entertained Brentford at Old Trafford earlier this afternoon as they looked to earn a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the dying embers of the first half when Ethan Pinnock found the back of the net. Erik ten Hag\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Alejandro Garnacho scored the equaliser for Man United just two minutes into the second half before Rasmus Hojlund completed the turnaround when he scored in the 62nd minute with a good finish. The match ended with the Mancunian giants earning a hard-fought 2-1 win at the Theatre of Dreams.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the clash against Brentford.<\/p>\n

GK: Amadou Onana \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one good save at the back but won\u2019t be pleased after conceding so late in the first half.<\/p>\n

RB: Diogo Dalot \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dalot cleared the danger when he could and was a threat going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Matthijs de Ligt \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.<\/p>\n

CB: Jonny Evans \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Evans kept things solid on the defensive end of the field and was accurate with his passing.<\/p>\n

LB: Lisandro Martinez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and was a threat in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Christian Eriksen \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eriksen anchored the midfield well and made some good chances for his teammates up top.<\/p>\n

CM: Casemiro \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He offered decent protection for his backline and ran the show in the Brentford half.<\/p>\n

RW: Marcus Rashford \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashford<\/a> caught the eye at times on the right flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CAM: Bruno Fernandes \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He linked up play well with others around him and picked up an assist for setting up Hojlund\u2019s match-winner.<\/p>\n

LW: Alejandro Garnacho \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Garnacho was a constant menace in the final third and scored the all-important equaliser for Man United early in the second half.<\/p>\n

ST: Rasmus Hojlund \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a real handful for the Brentford defenders and managed to score the winner after the hour mark.<\/p>\n
