In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes mentioned that Arsenal are eager to recruit Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo. It has been claimed that the Gunners have set their sights on the Japanese wide player as they look to bolster their attack next year.<\/p>\n

Kubo\u2019s Impressive Form In La Liga<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kubo managed to shine at times in the final third but struggled to find consistency at the Spanish club in the previous campaign. The 24-year-old scored seven goals and earned four assists in 52 matches for Real Sociedad<\/a> last season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The Japanese talent did well to average 1.63 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga<\/a>. He kept 32.6% of his attempts on target. Kubo was even accurate when distributing possession in the final third, based on his pass completion rate of 72.1% in the Spanish first division (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at Real Sociedad will run out in the summer of 2029. Therefore, it won\u2019t be easy for the Gunners to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.<\/p>\n

What Will Kubo Bring To Arsenal?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kubo is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.<\/p>\n

The Japanese talent can shoot the ball with venom from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas. Kubo is primarily a right-winger but can also play in the number ten position or as a left-sided wide player if told to do so. However, it remains to be seen whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kubo would no doubt bring more goals and creativity to Arsenal<\/a> head coach Mikel Arteta\u2019s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 24, Kubo has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Gunners to consider this January or at the end of the campaign.
