Manchester United faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the eighth minute when Igor Thiago found the back of the net. Thiago doubled his side\u2019s advantage in the 20th minute, but Benjamin Sesko got a goal back for the visitors just six minutes later. Man United went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim\u2019s men failed to mount a comeback in the second half and conceded their third goal in injury time when Mathias Jensen scored with a great strike. The contest finished with Man United suffering a disappointing 3-1 loss away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester United<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Bees.<\/p>\n

GK: Altay Bayindir \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bayindir made a few decent saves at the back, but conceded three times this afternoon.<\/p>\n

CB: Harry Maguire \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could, but failed to keep things solid inside his half.<\/p>\n

CB: Matthijs De Ligt \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

De Ligt did his fair share of defending at the back, but it was not enough today.<\/p>\n

CB: Luke Shaw \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

LM: Patrick Dorgu \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dorgu was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CM: Manuel Ugarte \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well at times but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Bruno Fernandes \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandes came back to defend when he could but saw his penalty saved in the second half.<\/p>\n

RM: Diogo Dalot \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned possession back once and made some decent chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

RAM: Bryan Mbeumo \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mbeumo engineered some inviting chances in the opponent\u2019s half but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

LAM: Matheus Cunha \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times in the final third, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

ST: Benjamin Sesko \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sesko was not shy of having a strike at goal and managed to score in the 26th minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Kobbie Mainoo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mainoo struggled to make an impact.<\/p>\n

CB: Leny Yoro \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending.<\/p>\n

LAM: Mason Mount \u2013 N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\n
