Liverpool faced off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they looked to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the ninth minute when Ismaila Sarr found the back of the net. Arne Slot\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Federico Chiesa equalised for the Merseyside club in the 87th minute. However, Eddie Nketiah scored a dramatic late winner for the Eagles in injury time as the Reds crashed to a tough 2-1 loss away from home.<\/p>\n

GK: Alisson Becker \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a string of world-class saves during the game but still conceded twice this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Conor Bradley \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bradley did his fair share of defending and made one good run with the ball. He was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

CB: Ibrahima Konate \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a lot of important clearances inside his half but was far from convincing in the first half.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Van Dijk did his best to deal with the danger but had a tough game this afternoon.<\/p>\n

He came back to defend when he could, but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gravenberch anchored the midfield well and was not shy of having a strike at goal.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He kept possession well at the centre of the park, but it was not enough today.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohamed Salah \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salah got himself into some dangerous positions but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.<\/p>\n

CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a lot of key chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.<\/p>\n

LW: Florian Wirtz \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wirtz caused some problems for the Palace defenders but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and was substituted in the 83rd minute.<\/p>\n
