Barcelona entertained Real Sociedad at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a victory in La Liga. The Catalan club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Alvaro Odriozola found the back of the net. However, Jules Kounde equalised for the home team in the 43rd minute as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Robert Lewandowski put Barca 2-1 ahead in the 59th minute. Hansi Flick\u2019s men managed the game well and earned a narrow 2-1 win this evening.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Barcelona<\/a> player fared during the match against Real Sociedad.<\/p>\n

GK: Wojciech Szczesny \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one good save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

RB: Jules Kounde \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kounde performed his defensive duties well and managed to find the back of the net just before the half-time break.<\/p>\n

CB: Ronald Araujo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared his lines when required and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Andreas Christensen \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared the danger when he could and made one good chance going forward.<\/p>\n

LB: Gerard Martin \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martin was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Frenkie De Jong \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and was a threat in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Pedri \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pedri came back to defend when needed and ran the show in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Marcus Rashford \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a constant menace on the right flank and ended the game with an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

CAM: Dro Fernandez \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez caught the eye at times in the final third but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

RW: Roony Bardghji -7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few decent runs with the ball but lacked the cutting edge in front of the opponent\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Robert Lewandowski -7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lewandowski caused a few headaches for the Sociedad defenders and managed to score the winner in the 59th minute.<\/p>\n
