Arsenal entertained Olympiacos at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute when Gabriel Martinelli got his name on the scoresheet. The North London club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka killed the game off in injury time as Mikel Arteta\u2019s men earned a solid 2-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against Olympiacos.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet at home.<\/p>\n

RB: Ben White \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

White was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when needed and did enough to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gabriel cleared his lines when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.<\/p>\n

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Mikel Merino \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merino engineered some decent chances for others around him and was replaced in the 57th minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He managed to shine at times on the right flank and did well to score the opener in the 12th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Viktor Gyokeres \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gyokeres was a real handful for the opposition defenders, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused some problems for his marker but didn\u2019t do enough to register a goal.<\/p>\n

Substitutes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timber was solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added some energy to Arsenal\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saka put the contest to bed in injury time after coming off the bench.<\/p>\n

LW: Eberechi Eze \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n
