In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Fraser Fletcher mentioned that Manchester City are set to rival Real Madrid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. It has been claimed that the Mancunian giants are eyeing a move to bring the French wide player next year.<\/p>\n

Olise\u2019s Impressive Form In German Football This Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Olise has made an excellent start to this campaign as he has already put in a run of influential displays for Bayern in the final third. The French wing wizard has banged in five goals and grabbed six assists in nine appearances for the Bavarian giants this season across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has given a good account of himself in the opponent\u2019s half and is currently among the best wide players in the Bundesliga. Hence, Man City would do well to lure him to the Etihad Stadium next year.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Allianz Arena will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Mancunian giants to snap him up on the cheap this January or at the end of this campaign.<\/p>\n

Is Olise A Good Option For Manchester City?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Olise is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.<\/p>\n

The French talent can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Olise is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also function as an attacking midfielder if told to do so. He already knows the Premier League well from his time at Crystal Palace<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at Manchester City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We can expect Olise to enhance the quality of Pep Guardiola\u2019s attack. He has what it takes to nail down a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming years.<\/p>\n
