Arsenal welcomed West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 38th minute when Declan Rice found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal\u2019s lead from the penalty spot in the 67th minute as the North London club earned a solid 2-0 win at the Emirates.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the match against the Hammers.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t have a save to make in the game and secured a comfortable clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timber was solid when defending inside his half and was a real threat going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was a good presence on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gabriel gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t do much wrong defensively and managed to shine at times in the West Ham half.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard made one key chance in the final third but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 38th minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Eberechi Eze \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eze was already willing to have a strike at goal but failed to find the back of the net.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a constant menace in the final third and stepped up to score his penalty in the second half.<\/p>\n

ST: Viktor Gyokeres \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gyokeres caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trossard made two good chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zubimendi anchored the midfield well and made one inviting chance going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Ethan Nwaneri \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added some energy to Arteta\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Mikel Merino \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n
