Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with AZ Alkmaar at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Thursday as they hope to secure a win in the UEFA Europa League. Spurs managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win over West Ham United recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.<\/p>\n

Ange Postecoglu will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this contest. Mikey Moore, Richarlison and Timo Werner could all play from the start of this game.<\/p>\n

4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face AZ Alkmaar<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guglielmo Vicario will operate in between the sticks for the North London outfit after shipping in one goal versus the Hammers last weekend. Radu Dragusin will function alongside Ben Davies at the centre of the Tottenham defence as they hope to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

Destiny Udogie will get a chance to shine as the left-back while Archie Gray looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the right-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the Alkmaar half.<\/p>\n

Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will be rested on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr will make up Tottenham\u2019s midfield. All three of them need to retain possession well if they want to create some decent chances for their teammates in the final third.<\/p>\n

Yves Bissouma will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second half if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timo Werner would get another chance to prove his worth on the left flank while Mikey Moore hopes to make a difference from the right wing. Richarlison will spearhead Postecoglu\u2019s attack down the middle. The Brazilian talent has to figure out a way to threaten the opponent\u2019s goal this Thursday.<\/p>\n

Heung-min Son<\/a> and Brennan Johnson will get a well-deserved rest on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if required.<\/p>\n
