Real Madrid entertained Borussia Dortmund at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 30th minute when Donyell Malen found the back of the net. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens doubled his team\u2019s advantage just four minutes later as Carlo Ancelotti\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Antonio Rudiger got a goal back for the home team at the hour mark before Vinicius Jr. equalised just a couple of minutes later. Lucas Vazquez put his team 3-2 ahead in the 83rd minute before Vinicius Jr. scored again in the 86th minute. The Brazilian winger went on to complete his hat-trick in injury time as Real Madrid secured an impressive 5-2 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the clash against Borussia Dortmund.<\/p>\n

GK: Thibaut Courtois \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Belgian keeper made a handful of important saves during the game but won\u2019t be pleased about conceding twice in the first half.<\/p>\n

RB: Lucas Vazquez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending and caused some problems in the opponent\u2019s half. Vazquez gave his team the all-important lead in the 83rd minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Eder Militao \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Militao performed his defensive duties well and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Antonio Rudiger \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He failed to keep things solid defensively in the first half and managed to get a goal back for Los Blancos at the hour mark.<\/p>\n

LB: Ferland Mendy \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was far from convincing at the back and put in a disjointed display at left-back.<\/p>\n

CM: Jude Bellingham \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bellingham was a constant menace in the opposition half and ended the game with an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

CM: Federico Valverde \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Uruguay international caught the eye at times on both halves.<\/p>\n

CM: Luka Modric \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He controlled the game well from midfield and was substituted in the 70th minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Rodrygo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rodrygo<\/a> was a real threat in the final third but there was no goal for him tonight.<\/p>\n

ST: Kylian Mbappe \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

LW: Vinicius Jr. \u2013 10\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vinicius Jr. was simply unstoppable in the second half as he scored a hattrick that inspired his team to another famous win in Europe.<\/p>\n

CM: Eduardo Camavinga \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added some bite and steel to Ancelotti\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n
