In a recent report<\/a>, talkSPORT mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Bournemouth<\/a> star Antoine Semenyo. It has been stated that Spurs would have to compete with Manchester United<\/a> in the race to land the Ghana international next year.<\/p>\n

Semenyo\u2019s Impressive Form In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Semenyo has made a decent start to this Premier League campaign as he has put in a string of impressive displays for the Cherries in the final third. The 25-year-old has scored six times and earned three assists in eight matches for Bournemouth this season on all fronts.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian sensation has caught the eye with his contributions in the final third and deserves credit for averaging 2.29 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has kept 50% of his attempts on target. However, Semenyo needs to improve his ball distribution in the opponent\u2019s half, based on his pass completion rate of 67.1% in league football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, it won\u2019t be easy for Spurs to get a deal over the line for him on the cheap next year.<\/p>\n

Will Semenyo Be A Good Choice For Tottenham Hotspur?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Semenyo is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian talent can shoot the ball with power from long range. He can even contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas. Semenyo is primarily a right-winger but can also perform as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if needed. He has already proven himself in the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at the North London club.<\/p>\n

We can expect Semenyo to add more quality and depth to Tottenham<\/a> boss Thomas Frank\u2019s attack. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming years.<\/p>\n
