In a recent post on X<\/a>, journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a keen eye on Brentford<\/a> winger Kevin Schade. It has been stated that Spurs are eyeing a move to secure the services of the German wide player.<\/p>\n

Schade\u2019s Form In The Premier League This Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Schade has caught the eye at times on the left side of Brentford\u2019s attack during this campaign. The 23-year-old has scored one goal in eight matches for the Bees this season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The German talent has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 1.42 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League<\/a>. He has kept 33.3% of his attempts on target. However, Schade needs to improve his ball distribution in the opponent\u2019s half after completing 58.6% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the English club will run out in the summer of 2028. Thus, it won\u2019t be easy for Spurs to get a deal over the line for him next year.<\/p>\n

What Will Schade Bring To Tottenham Hotspur?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Schade is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net. He can strike the ball well from long range. However, the German sensation has to find a way to be more consistent in front of the opponent\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

Schade is primarily a left-winger but can also serve as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so by his manager. He already knows the Premier League well and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We can expect Schade to bring more depth to Spurs boss Thomas Frank\u2019s attack. He is good enough to serve as a useful presence in the North London club\u2019s match-day squad.<\/p>\n

At 23, Schade has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a good option for Tottenham to consider this January or at the end of this campaign. He would even help Spurs compete across all fronts in the coming years.
