In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes claimed that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Porto midfielder Victor Froholdt. It has been stated that the Red Devils are eager to acquire the services of the Danish talent next year.<\/p>\n

Froholdt\u2019s Impressive Form In Portuguese Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Froholdt has made a great start to this campaign as he has put in a string of impressive displays for Porto at the centre of the park. The 19-year-old has found the back of the net once and earned two assists in 11 matches for the Portuguese club this season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The Danish talent has anchored the midfield well and deserves credit for making six tackles, ten blocks, eight interceptions and eight clearances in Liga Portugal. He has even distributed the ball accurately from inside his half based on his pass completion rate of 82.3% in the top tier of Portuguese football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Portuguese club will run out in the summer of 2030. Thus, it won\u2019t be easy for Man United to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Are Eyeing A Move For Froholdt: Is He A Prospect For The Future?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Froholdt is a decent tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his side on the defensive end of the field. He doesn\u2019t mind clearing the danger when required and is a tidy passer of the ball.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.87m, the Danish sensation is a strong presence in the air as well. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League<\/a> if the Red Devils manage to snap him up next year.<\/p>\n

We can expect Froholdt to inject more quality into Man United<\/a> boss Ruben Amorim\u2019s midfield in the long run. He is already good enough to serve as a good rotational piece in the Mancunian club\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n
