According to a report by Spanish outlet\u00a0<\/span>Fichajes<\/span><\/a>, Liverpool are highly interested in signing Real Madrid\u2019s Aurelien Tchouameni next summer. <\/span>The Premier League club <\/span>are<\/span> even formulating a bid <\/span>near to<\/span> \u20ac60 million to land the midfield at Anfield.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aurelien Tchouameni is falling down the pack<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Aurelien Tchouameni<\/a> is a highly-rated midfielder who made his way to Real Madrid from Monaco in the summer of 2022. Coming with a lot of expectations, he hasn\u2019t managed to live up to the hype as of now and can be seen struggling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tchouameni plays as a defensive midfielder in the middle of the park. He is known for his timely tackles, aerial dominance and shot blocking. <\/span>He is also <\/span>equipped <\/span>well<\/span> in<\/span> distributing<\/span> the passes and can score from a distance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The French midfielder hasn\u2019t been convincing enough despite featuring regularly. He has made 15 appearances this season so far. He is averaging 2 tackles, 1.5 interceptions, and 1.4 clearances per game (stats via <\/span>whoscored<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Arne Slot wants Aurelien Tchouameni<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Recently reports emerged that stated that Real Madrid are willing to offload Aurelien Tchouameni. The Spanish side isn\u2019t happy with his progress and believes his countryman Eduardo Camavinga<\/a> can <\/span>do the job of<\/span> a defensive midfielder more effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sensing the opportunity, Liverpool has shown interest in signing Tchouameni. They already wanted a number six in the form of Mart\u00edn Zubimendi but the Spanish midfielder decided against joining them in the summer window.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Ryan Gravenberch<\/a> has made his mark in the concerned role, Arne Slot still wants a new option <\/span>at his disposal<\/span>. Tchouameni has the qualities and potential to do the job for Liverpool for a long period. He can certainly make a mark at Anfield.<\/span><\/p>\n
