Manchester United faced off against Liverpool at Anfield earlier this evening as they looked to secure a positive result away from home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a dream start to the contest as they scored the opening goal in the second minute when Bryan Mbeumo found the back of the net. Man United defended their slender advantage well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The Mancunian club conceded the equaliser in the 78th minute when Cody Gakpo got his name on the scoresheet. Harry Maguire ended up scoring a dramatic winner just six minutes later. The contest ended with Man United earning a brilliant 2-1 win on the road.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester United<\/a> player fared during the match against the Reds.<\/p>\n

GK: Senne Lammens \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lammens made a handful of solid saves at the back and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.<\/p>\n

CB: Matthijs de Ligt \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made some crucial clearances at the back but gave away the ball cheaply at times.<\/p>\n

CB: Harry Maguire \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maguire was a rock inside his half and managed to score the winning goal with a good header in the 84th minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Luke Shaw \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when needed, but struggled to impress on the ball.<\/p>\n

RM: Amad Diallo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He worked hard at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Casemiro \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Casemiro offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was replaced in the 57th minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Bruno Fernandes \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties and made a few key chances in the final third. Fernandes has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

LM: Diogo Dalot \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dalot hardly put a foot wrong defensively and made one good chance in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

RAM: Bryan Mbeumo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score early in the game.<\/p>\n

LAM: Mason Mount \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mount worked his socks off but failed to make a difference in the Liverpool half.<\/p>\n

ST: Matheus Cunha \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He kept the ball well in the opponent\u2019s half but failed to be a threat up top.<\/p>\n

Ugarte anchored the midfield well.<\/p>\n
