Newcastle United will entertain Fulham at St. James\u2019 Park this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a 3-0 win over Benfica recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.<\/p>\n

Eddie Howe will opt for the 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make some changes for this contest. Anthony Elanga, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali could all play from the start of this game.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Nick Pope will play in between the sticks for the Magpies after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Malick Thiaw will function alongside Sven Botman at the heart of Howe\u2019s defence as they look to keep the opposition attackers quiet during the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

Kieran Trippier will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Dan Burn looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.<\/p>\n

Fabian Schar will be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Howe could opt for a midfield three of Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali and Joelinton. All three of them need to move the ball well at the centre of the park if they want to create enough chances for the Magpies to secure a convincing win this weekend.<\/p>\n

Lewis Miley, Jacob Ramsey and Joe Willock will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anthony Elanga will try to impress on the right flank, while Anthony Gordon hopes to put his pace to good use as the left-sided winger.<\/p>\n

Nick Woltemade will spearhead Howe\u2019s attack in the Fulham half. He failed to score against Benfica in midweek, so this game would be a good chance for him to return to his goal-scoring ways.<\/p>\n

William Osula, Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy will make up the numbers on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the final quarter if Newcastle<\/a> are in need of a goal by then.<\/p>\n
