Manchester United welcomed Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a strong start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 24th minute thanks to Matheus Cunha\u2019s brilliant finish. Casemiro doubled his team\u2019s advantage just ten minutes later as Ruben Amorim\u2019s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo made it 3-0 to Man United in the 61st minute. Danny Welbeck got a goal back for the Seagulls in the 74th minute with a great free-kick before Charalampos Kostoulas scored for Brighton in injury time. However, Mbeumo killed the game off in the dying embers of the contest as the Red Devils cruised to an impressive 4-2 win at the Theatre of Dreams.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester United<\/a> player fared during the contest against Brighton.<\/p>\n

GK: Senne Lammens \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves at the back but conceded twice this evening.<\/p>\n

CB: Leny Yoro \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yoro did his fair share of defending but failed to keep things solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CB: Matthijs de Ligt \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.<\/p>\n

CB: Luke Shaw \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shaw earned possession back once inside his half and managed to secure an assist as well.<\/p>\n

RM: Amad Diallo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was full of energy and running at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Casemiro \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Casemiro managed to shine on both halves and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Bruno Fernandes \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending and was a constant menace in the final third.<\/p>\n

LM: Diogo Dalot \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dalot gave a good account of himself on the left flank.<\/p>\n

RAM: Bryan Mbeumo \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mbeumo caused a lot of problems for the Brighton defenders and ended the game with a couple of goals to his name.<\/p>\n

LAM: Matheus Cunha \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He scored the opener with a great finish in the first half and was a real threat up top.<\/p>\n

ST: Benjamin Sesko \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sesko worked hard in the opponent\u2019s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CB: Ayden Heaven \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was far from convincing inside his half.<\/p>\n

LM: Patrick Dorgu \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Kobbie Mainoo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mainoo had a couple of bright moments in the final third.<\/p>\n
