Arsenal entertained Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 39th minute thanks to Eberechi Eze\u2019s effort. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The Gunners defended their slender advantage well in the second half and managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Eagles.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya didn\u2019t have a save to make in the game and kept an easy clean sheet at the Emirates.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saliba made one important clearance at the back and was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was a strong presence in the air.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one crucial clearance inside his half but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zubimendi anchored the midfield well and made one good chance in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The England international was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on the right flank but failed to threaten the opponent\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

CAM: Eberechi Eze \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eze caused some headaches for the opposition defenders and scored the only goal of the game with a good strike in the 39th minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trossard managed to shine at times but didn\u2019t do enough to register a goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Viktor Gyokeres \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He worked hard but never looked like he would find the back of the net.<\/p>\n
