Manchester City faced off against Swansea City at the Swansea.com Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the EFL Cup. The Mancunian giants made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Goncalo Franco found the back of the net. However, Jeremy Doku equalised for Man City in the 39th minute as Pep Guardiola\u2019s men went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Omar Marmoush put Man City 2-1 ahead in the 77th minute before Rayan Cherki killed the game off in injury time. The contest finished with the Mancunian giants earning an impressive 3-1 win away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player fared during the clash against Swansea City.<\/p>\n

GK: James Trafford \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t have a save to make in the game and failed to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

RB: Rico Lewis \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lewis performed his defensive duties and was lively going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Nathan Ake \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared his lines when he could and did enough to limit the home side to just one goal.<\/p>\n

CB: Abdukodir Khusanov \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Khusanov was far from convincing when defending inside his half and was replaced after the hour mark.<\/p>\n

LB: Rayan Ait-Nouri \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Nico Gonzalez \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gonzalez anchored the midfield well and ran the show in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Divine Mukasa \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times in the middle of the park.<\/p>\n

RW: Oscar Bobb \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bobb caused some problems for his marker but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

CAM: Rayan Cherki \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a constant menace in the final third and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

Doku was a real threat on the left flank and did well to score the equaliser in the 39th minute.<\/p>\n
