Liverpool entertained Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result at home in the EFL Cup. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 41st minute when Ismaila Sarr found the back of the net. Sarr doubled his team\u2019s advantage just four minutes later as Arne Slot\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Amara Nallo was sent off by the referee in the 79th minute before Yeremy Pino killed the game off in the 88th minute. The match finished with Liverpool suffering a disappointing 3-0 loss at Merseyside.<\/p>\n

He made a few routine saves at the back but conceded three times tonight.<\/p>\n

Ramsay cleared the danger when he could, but struggled to make an impact going forward.<\/p>\n

He was far from convincing at the back but was lively in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Wataru Endo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Endo did his fair share of defending, but it was not enough tonight.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He struggled to get into the flow of the game.<\/p>\n

Nyoni found it difficult to retain possession in the Palace half.<\/p>\n
