Meanwhile, Pete O\u2019Rourke told Football Insider<\/a> that Sancho will not return to Manchester United in January, despite growing rumours suggesting otherwise. He explained that the loan contract includes no break clause, so Sancho must stay at Villa until the season ends.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old created an awkward moment after the Manchester City game on 26 October when Emery brought him on early in the first half, only to take him off before the final whistle. That incident showed how much Sancho\u2019s confidence has dropped.<\/p>\n

While speaking about the English international\u2019s future, the transfer expert said:\u00a0\u201cI think he will see out the season at Villa.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not great that for any player to be brought on as a substitute and then to be taken off as well in the same game [against Man City on 26 October].<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBut he has struggled to make an impact in the squad, there\u2019s no getting away from that. We know what Unai Emery demands.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The English winger has played five games but has scored no goals, provided no assists, and found no rhythm. Villa fans expected more from a winger once known for immense talent and decisiveness. For now, his story remains stuck until summer, when people will again discuss his long-term future.<\/p>\n

Right now, a permanent move looks hard to justify. Sancho might still have the, but he has lost his form under Emery\u2019s strict system. The Spanish manager demands hard work and discipline, and Sancho hasn\u2019t shown the consistency to meet those standards.<\/p>\n
