Arsenal faced off against Slavia Praha at the Fortuna Arena earlier this evening as they look to earn all three points on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute thanks to Bukayo Saka\u2019s penalty. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Mikel Merino doubled his side\u2019s advantage in the 46th minute before going on to score again in the 68th minute. The contest ended with Arsenal securing an impressive 3-0 win away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against Slavia Praha.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet this evening.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timber performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a rock at the back and did enough to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brazilian talent cleared the danger when he could and was a threat going forward.<\/p>\n

LB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field. Hincapie was replaced in the 72nd minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Ethan Nwaneri \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nwaneri created two good chances in the final third and was substituted after the hour mark.<\/p>\n

CM: Christian Norgaard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice engineered a handful of decent chances for his teammates to score and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saka was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score his penalty in the first half.<\/p>\n

ST: Mikel Merino \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He scored a brace in the second half to help Arsenal secure a convincing win this evening. Merino deserves to be named the man of the match.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trossard caused some problems for his marker and has got an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n
