In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes revealed that Real Madrid have identified Chelsea<\/a> midfielder Enzo Fernandez as a target. It is believed that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to bring the Argentina international to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next year.<\/p>\n

Fernandez\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football This Season<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fernandez has enjoyed a fine run of form at Chelsea this season as he has been responsible for putting in a run of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The Argentine talent has scored four goals and grabbed one assist in 16 matches for the Blues in this campaign so far on all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 2.15 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League<\/a>. He has kept 47.6% of his attempts on target. Fernandez has even distributed the ball accurately after completing 82.4% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current deal at Stamford Bridge will expire in the summer of 2032. Thus, Los Blancos would have to make a massive offer if they are to stand a chance of recruiting Fernandez next year.<\/p>\n

What Will Fernandez Bring To Real Madrid?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fernandez is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is an excellent passer of the ball as well.<\/p>\n

The Argentina international is full of energy and running at the centre of the park and can even shoot the ball with power from long range. Fernandez is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also operate as a defensive midfielder or play in the number ten position if needed. However, only time will tell whether he can maintain his good form in La Liga<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fernandez would bring more quality and depth to Real Madrid<\/a> boss Xabi Alonso\u2019s midfield department. He has what it takes to secure a regular starting place at the Madrid club.<\/p>\n
