In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Fraser Fretcher claimed that Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> are in the race to sign Bournemouth<\/a> star Antoine Semenyo. It has been mentioned that Spurs would have to rival Liverpool<\/a> in the chase to land the Ghanaian talent next year.<\/p>\n

Semenyo\u2019s Impressive Form In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Semenyo has enjoyed a decent run of form at the English club as he has produced a handful of influential displays for them in the Premier League<\/a>. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net six times and secured three assists in 12 appearances for the Cherries this season across various competitions.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian sensation has caught the eye at times in the final third and deserves some credit for averaging 1.91 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. However, Semenyo needs to improve his ball distribution, based on his pass success rate of 69.4% in the English top tier (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, it won\u2019t be easy for Tottenham to win the race for his services next year.<\/p>\n

What Will Semenyo Add To Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank\u2019s Team?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Semenyo has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. He can strike the ball with venom from long range and has got the vision to create some meaningful openings for his teammates to score.<\/p>\n

The Ghana international can chip in by scoring and creating a lot of important goals for his team in the final third. He is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so.<\/p>\n

We can expect Semenyo to add a lot of firepower to Tottenham boss Thomas Frank\u2019s frontline. He is good enough to help the London outfit compete for some major honours over the next few years.<\/p>\n
