West Ham are in the news as the London club considers a move that could restructure their attacking options. According to a report from Pete O\u2019Rourke via Football Insider<\/a>, Nuno Espirito Santo wants Adama Traor\u00e9 at the London Stadium, and the manager believes the Fulham winger can add sharpness, directness, and energy to a frontline that needs more bite. The interest feels familiar because Nuno worked closely with Traor\u00e9 during their spell together at Wolves, and he still rates the Spaniard\u2019s influence in wide areas.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old winger\u2019s journey since leaving Molineux has taken a few turns. He spent a short period on loan at Barcelona before returning to Wolves, only for his time there to drift without momentum.<\/p>\n

Eventually, the Spaniard moved to Fulham on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. Even though he has not produced consistent standout moments in West London, he has stayed involved in Marco Silva\u2019s squad. However, with his contract ending in a few months and no extension in sight, Traor\u00e9\u2019s future points elsewhere, which gives West Ham a real opening.<\/p>\n

While speaking about a potential reunion of the duo, O\u2019Rourke said, \u201cI\u2019m sure it\u2019s something that Nuno would probably like to explore. Traore probably enjoyed his best spell of form under Nuno at Wolves between 2018 and 2021. I think there\u2019s admiration from both.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, potentially there could be interest in a reunion between the pair at West Ham. We know West Ham will probably be busy in the January market to try and improve their squad. They do lack a bit of pace on that side as well. So Traore would definitely go a long way to solving that as well, and he is coming to the end of his contract at the end of the season.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

As O\u2019Rourke explained, Nuno rates Traor\u00e9 highly because the winger delivered his most confident run of form under the Portuguese manager between 2018 and 2021. Their relationship remains strong, and both men would welcome another spell working together. West Ham, meanwhile, need pace on the flanks, and Traor\u00e9 gives them that without costing a heavy fee.<\/p>\n
