In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes claimed that Manchester United are showing interest in AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils have set their sights on the Dutch talent next year.<\/p>\n

Smit\u2019s Impressive Form In The Dutch Eredivisie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Smit has caught the eye at times with his performances at the heart of Alkmaar\u2019s midfield this season. The 19-year-old has registered two goals and earned four assists in 19 matches for the Dutch outfit in this campaign so far in all competitions.<\/p>\n

The talented midfielder has managed to shine at times in the Dutch Eredivisie and is currently among the best young talents in Dutch football. Therefore, Man United would do well to lure him to Old Trafford next year.<\/p>\n

His current contract at Alkmaar will run out in the summer of 2028. Hence, Man United would find it difficult to get a deal done for the Dutch sensation next year.<\/p>\n

Should Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim Snap Smit Up Next Year?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Smit is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his side inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a good passer of the ball as well.<\/p>\n
