In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Dean Jones claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are in the running to land Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis. It has been stated that Spurs are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the Greek wide player next year.<\/p>\n

Tzoli\u2019s Impressive Form In Belgian Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tzolis is having a great campaign at the Belgian club as he has been responsible for putting in a string of impressive displays for them on the left wing. The 23-year-old has scored eight goals and grabbed nine assists in 23 matches for Club Brugge this season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The Greek talent has proven his worth at times in the final third based on his average of 4.12 shots per 90 minutes in the Jupiler Pro League. He has kept 32.7% of his attempts on target. However, Tzolis has to find a way to improve his ball distribution after completing 68.9% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Belgian football (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at Club Brugge will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Spurs to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.<\/p>\n

Will Tzolis Be A Decent Choice For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tzolis excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet.<\/p>\n

The Greek sensation is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward up top if asked to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League<\/a> if Spurs manage to bring him on board next year.<\/p>\n

We can expect Tzolis to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham<\/a> head coach Thomas Frank\u2019s attack. He is good enough to fight for regular first-team football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming years.<\/p>\n
