Liverpool entertained PSV Eindhoven at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Ivan Perisic found the back of the net from the penalty spot. However, Dominic Szoboszlai equalised for the home side in the 16th minute as the two teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Guus Til restored PSV\u2019s lead in the 56th minute. Couhaib Driouech bagged a quick-fire brace late in the game as Arne Slot\u2019s men crashed to a dismal 4-1 loss at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Liverpool<\/a> player fared during the clash against PSV Eindhoven.<\/p>\n

GK: Giorgi Mamardashvili \u2013 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a couple of solid saves at the back but conceded four goals tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Curtis Jones \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jones earned possession back twice but lacked quality on the ball.<\/p>\n

He made a few costly errors at the back and was replaced in the 75th minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

LB: Milos Kerkez \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He looked vulnerable defensively and lacked quality in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gravenberch made two crucial interceptions inside his half but failed to make a difference going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He linked up play well with others around him, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

CM: Dominik Szoboszlai \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Szoboszlai was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score in the 16th minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohamed Salah \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He engineered a few inviting chances for his teammates but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

Ekitike was a threat in the first half but got injured and was replaced in the 60th minute.<\/p>\n
