Manchester City will entertain Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants suffered a tough 2-0 loss at the hands of Bayer 04 Leverkusen recently, so they would be eager to bounce back with a win this weekend.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Ruben Dias could all play from the start of this contest.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in between the sticks for the Mancunian club after being rested in midweek. Ruben Dias will function alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City<\/a> backline as they try to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

Matheus Nunes will fill in as the right-back, while Nico O\u2019Reilly hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

Nathan Ake and John Stones will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Phil Foden, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki will make up Guardiola\u2019s midfield. Their main focus would be to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

Nico Gonzalez and Rico Lewis will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jeremy Doku will try to prove his worth on the left flank, while Savinho hopes to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Both of them would look to get in behind the Leeds defence at every chance they get.<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland will lead the charge for Man City up top. He would be keen on getting his name on the scoresheet versus the Whites this weekend.<\/p>\n

Omar Marmoush and Oscar Bobb will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.<\/p>\n
