In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Santi Aouna revealed that Liverpool<\/a> are among the clubs hoping to land Everton playmaker Iliman Ndiaye. It has been stated that the Reds would have to compete with Manchester City<\/a> and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to secure the services of the Senegalese winger next year.<\/p>\n

Ndiaye\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ndiaye has made a decent start to this campaign as he has been responsible for putting in a run of eye-catching displays for the Toffees in the final third. The Senegalese talent has played in 15 matches for Everton<\/a> this season, netting four goals and earning one assist in multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old has caught the eye at times in the opponent\u2019s half by averaging 1.09 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League<\/a>. He has kept 61.5% of his attempts on target. Ndiaye has even distributed the ball relatively well after making 77.6% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Merseyside club will expire in the summer of 2029. Therefore, Liverpool would have to make a big offer if they want to convince their Merseyside rivals to part ways with their prized asset next year.<\/p>\n

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Go For Ndiaye?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ndiaye is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it in the opposition half. He has got the eye to play a few decisive passes in the final third and can shoot the ball well from long range.<\/p>\n

The Senegalese sensation can contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. Ndiaye is primarily a right-winger but can also serve as a left-sided wide player or as a striker down the middle if told to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Ndiaye would bring more quality and depth to Arne Slot\u2019s attack. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular first-team spot at Liverpool in the coming years.<\/p>\n
