Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Newcastle United at St. James\u2019 Park earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bruno Guimaraes scored the opening goal in the 71st minute, but Cristian Romero equalised just seven minutes later. Anthony Gordon put Newcastle ahead from the penalty spot in the 86th minute. However, Romero rescued a point for Spurs as he scored in injury time. The contest ended with Tottenham earning a last-gasp 2-2 draw away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Magpies.<\/p>\n

GK: Guglielmo Vicario \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vicario made a few important saves at the back, but would not be pleased about conceding twice in the second half.<\/p>\n

RB: Pedro Porro \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when he could and made one decent run with the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristian Romero \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romero performed his defensive duties well and managed to score twice in the latter stages of the game to rescue a point for his team.<\/p>\n

CB: Kevin Danso \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a lot of crucial clearances on the defensive end of the pitch.<\/p>\n

LB: Destiny Udogie \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and produced a disjointed display at left-back.<\/p>\n

CM: Pape Matar Sarr \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sarr helped his teammates out at the back when he could, but lacked quality in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well at times but offered very little in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Lucas Bergvall \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bergvall made two decent runs with the ball but lacked quality on the ball.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohammed Kudus \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on the right flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

ST: Randal Kolo Muani \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kolo Muani made a few promising runs with the ball, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

LW: Brennan Johnson \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and was substituted in the 76th minute.<\/p>\n
