Arsenal welcomed Brentford at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute when Mikel Merino found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka killed the game off in injury time when he got his name on the scoresheet. The contest ended with the Gunners earning a solid 2-0 win in front of the home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Bees.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya didn\u2019t have a save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet at the Emirates tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Ben White \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made two good chances in the final third. White has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristhian Mosquera \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mosquera kept things solid at the back but had to be replaced before the half-time break.<\/p>\n

CB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard engineered some inviting chances for others around him, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well but lacked quality in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice engineered a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Noni Madueke \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on the right flank, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

ST: Mikel Merino \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merino gave Arsenal the lead early in the game and has got an assist to his name as well.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He managed to shine in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n
